Managing information means promoting company growth
Julio Olivares was born in Chile and started his professional career at IBM in Chile.
After several years, he decided he needed a change and crossed the Atlantic to fill
a position at IBM in Spain. In Spain he was involved in a variety of projects, from
providing technical support for large installations to international assignments
in countries such as France and the United States. As he successfully fulfilled
the department’s goals, he was promoted to sales executive for Large Accounts.
In 1992 and after a thriving year marked by an extensive IT project for one of the
major banks of Spain, Julio Olivares decided to found his own enterprise, today
known as DocPath, in which he would combine and implement his technical and sales
experience to get his business off the ground.
DocPath is a multinational manufacturer of document technology. Created in 1992
in Madrid, it has two development centers in Spain and a presence with its software
solutions in many of the largest companies in the country as well as in various
countries in America, Asia and Europe.
The company’s international clients include recognized prestigious banks and first
line corporations, for which DocPath facilitates the difficult and complex work
of designing, generating and distributing their business critical documents. These
activities have turned the company into one of the leading enterprises in its sector.
