PennCentral, a new product that improves control of printers and multi-function
systems by analyzing the activities of each printing system in detail.
This product allows to control what and who is printing as well as how many documents
are printed in an organization. Print control can be performed on an individual
level, per person, or per department, which causes important cost savings.
PennCentral allows careful monitoring of document print activities, as well as limiting
the usage of print resources to users and/or departments by assigning print quotas
for configurable periods of time. The number of copies and digitalised documents
obtained from multi-function systems can also be controlled.
Additionally,
PennCentral provides the option of “secure printing” on multi-function systems via
user authentication and a wide variety of predefined reports that offer a complete
overview of the print activities per user and per group.
The application, compatible with Windows, is easy to install thanks to a configuration
assistant.
