Residing on a Web server, the
High Performance Connector
(HPC) manages communication between an existing business application and a document
generation motor, both of which could reside on the same workstation or not.
Upon request from a Web browser,
receives business application data and performs the document generation process
(1-4), then returns the results to the browser (5-6).
Any storage of temporary files is avoided since transmission of information is performed
via data streaming protocol.
