Mainframe Support

Run on IBM MVS, but move document generation to OPEN MVS

DocPath document software solutions run also on IBM mainframes or can connect with it in order to receive data from the IBM box and process its documents on, much less expensive, downsized systems.

The graphics show two different ways for implementing a DocPath solution to generate documents in or from the IBM mainframe.

zOS diagram

The image shows how data generated by zOS applications can be moved to the OpenMVS side using a Writer provided by DocPath and the moved to or pulled from external applications, to create documents that can be printed or sent as electronic documents to the final users and/or stored for later access.
